There will be brackets in each category and then a final race off amongst the winners. Union Line Garage will have cars available. Kits can also be purchased at local hobby shops.

Home Grown Contest
Hopewell is home not only to farms, large and small, but also many fine home gardeners and school-based gardens. What would a Harvest Fair be without a chance to see what our neighbors and schoolchildren have produced at the end of the growing season?

Find Freddy
Help find Freddy the Frog, who hasn’t been to the Hopewell Harvest Fair in several years! He’s here today with many friends, wandering about the fairgrounds. The object of this scavenger hunt is to find Freddy and as many of his costumed friends as possible in one hour. You must sign up before 12:45 p.m. The scavenger hunt runs from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the announcement of winners and distribution of prizes. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Judging Categories

Youth+ Adult team
Adult
There are fabulous first, second, and third-place prizes for each of the three categories, as well as added mystery prizes.
Rules of the Game
1. Before 12:45 p.m., obtain and fill out an Entry Form at the Information Booth. You can sign up as an adult, a child, or an adult/child team. The cost is $2.00.
2. Be at the school cafeteria no later than 1:00 p.m. to obtain a copy of Freddy’s List, a stick collection container, pencil, and final verbal instructions. It is important that you do not miss these final instructions.
3. Immediately after the instructions are given, the game will officially begin and all players will be dismissed at the same time to begin hunting for characters. You don’t have to find characters in order, nor do you have to leave the fairgrounds.
4. As you discover each character, identify them and ask for a proof stick. Store your sticks in the container and cross off the character’s number on Freddy’s List.
5. If you’re lucky enough to find all the characters on Freddy’s List, return to the cafeteria to check in. Don’t worry if you can’t find all of the characters—just try your best and see how well you do compared to the other players.
6. Characters will stop handing out sticks at 1:55 p.m. At this time, each player/team must return to the cafeteria to check in by 2 p.m.
7. Please note that all collected sticks must be returned in order to qualify for prizes.
8. Once winners are identified, prizes will be distributed.
Good luck and have fun!
